So I had an idea a while back to create a little database of people in the Scrabble community with something to say, as well as a way of identifying them online. I'm sure it'll be of great use to the community, and it's found here.
This site will also serve as a dumping ground for my games and strategy musings as I struggle my way up through the ranks. Currently I'm a 1500 player, though I've only been playing tournaments since January. My rating has yet to have plateaued, and I imagine I'll get to the 1600s before it does. Then the real work will start, and this will be a chronicle of that work.
Also, there's a matter of things needed. When I had the idea for the people database, Kenji Matsumoto's seconding of it made it clear that it should be done. And along with it are several other ideas he's come up with. When I have the time, I'll try to tackle the ones that I'm capable of bringing to reality.
